Do you dispose of the windows after installation?
We always dispose of your old windows, including any glass or rubbish left over from your installation. All recyclable material is recycled at our preferred recycling centre. We also take great care whilst working in your home, making sure it is vacuumed and protected with dust sheets. We always leave it as clean and tidy as possible.
What is the difference between a sash and casement window?
Sash windows more traditional in style and slide up and down. Casement windows give greater flexibility and have openers that can be pushed out or tilted in.
Do timber effect sash windows look the same as real timber?
We use custom-made decorative finishes for our uPVC timber effect windows. This provides a very realistic effect and we can easily match your new windows to existing window and door frames, so they blend in well.
We would like uPVC sash windows, as we don’t like the plastic look.
It is possible to supply a uPVC woodgrain effect frames with timber surround, allowing your windows to be more in keeping with your home.
Do you have your own installation team fitting your windows?
AA Installations are a family run business and we only use our own fully trained and accredited installers for all of our jobs.
How long does it take to install windows and doors?
This will depend on the condition of the project and how complicated it might be. Usually, a two-man team of fitters will complete approximately six windows per day.
Do your windows and doors come with energy efficiency ratings?
The products we supply are A and B rated and comply with all energy efficiency standards.
